I received this in my email this morning concerning the recent Netflix outage. The 5% credit amounts to about$0.85 off of my next bill. Awesome! Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do with the extra cash? Maybe I could buy me one of them fancy soda pops that come in cans as shiny as faucets!?

Hey, at least they give you something. I wish Cox Internet would give me ANYTHING for all the freaking outages they have. No, I pay the full price regardless of if I am online or if their service is down for hours. It makes me glad to use Netflix.

A whole 85 cents?? Thanks to Netflix I’m getting me a shiny new pack of gum

This reminds me, I need to send my movies back to them one of these days. I should stick a little note inside one of the envelopes, thanking them for the gum.

If Cox is anything like my cable company, they won’t refund money for any service disruption unless it is down for over 24 hours per incident.

I’ll give you a drink of my pop if you give me a stick of gum.
