Make free phone calls to anyone in the world.

Posted by Bucky in Tips & Tricks

Well, not really anyone, and not all over the entire planet, but a lot of it!

Pat Phelan is persistant! Yak4ever.com , (previously called allfreecalls.net before being shut down by AT&T), has reopened its doors and once again, you can call several countries, for free. Landline to landline using your regular telephone. You don’t need any accessories. Just sign up and go. The service is limited to allow you to call only 10 numbers, but hey…that is 10 numbers you don’t have to pay to talk to.

Here is an excerpt from their FAQ:

Can I really make unlimited calls?

Yes! We do not charge you anything to make this call. By joining our call club you are entitled to make unlimited calls to the ten numbers you have registered.

Where Can I Call?

Our club service allows you to make unlimited calls from the US to any of the countries listed below: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil (Rio De Janerio), Canada, China, Christmas & Coco’s Island, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland (Warsaw), Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UK and USA.

More countries coming soon.

What’s The Catch?

No catch! No gimmicks, nothing!

How Do I Use Your Service?

Register your number and ten overseas numbers you call regularly in this format, country code and local number. Once registered you will enjoy unlimited calls to your ten friends.

I ran across this website / service and thought that some of you might be interested, so I am passing it along. :)

I wonder how long it will be before AT&T tries to shut them down?

Shame that this doesn’t include calls made from the UK as well - looks like I’ve got to keep researching.
