In this situation you would never receive a court date and therefor not need to worry about if it is waived or not. If the officer did not file a copy with the court then there is no evidence of the infraction. Did you receive a court date yet?, or just hoping that he did not file? If this happened to you, your hella lucky</description>

		<description>Thank you for mentioning the value of hiring a lawyer in traffic court (in New York State - but not New York City). I handle many traffic court cases in my practice and we do actually win some of them. But in most cases we are able to negotiate reductions for our clients. This saves them much more than our fee. We also give them peace of mind, knowing that it's being taken care of well. And we almost always handle it without the client having to go to court, saving many of them a long drive. Really, if these guys are wild drivers, do we want them driving all that way to court and home again?</description>
