There is so much culture and history in Istanbul. It truly is a must see. PS. Traces of my trip will probably show up on www.kocaelinde.com a blog about Turkey by world-class scholar/award-winning novelist Jenny White. She also happens to be the friend with whom we’ll be staying — in the big old Ottoman house she’s already described there.
