		<description>Turkey and Istanbul more specifically are really beautiful places that most people, at least that I’ve talked to, don’t think of when planning excursions to Europe. There is so much culture and history in Istanbul. It truly is a must see.

PS. Traces of my trip will probably show up on www.kocaelinde.com a blog about Turkey by world-class scholar/award-winning novelist Jenny White. She also happens to be the friend with whom we’ll be staying — in the big old Ottoman house she’s already described there.</description>
