		<description>I will add some things about pencils, as that is my profession.

Pencils even used in ancient Rome, but they worked different way.  At that time, scribes wrote on papyrus, with a tiny metal, which made small, but mark that was readable.

Graphite pencils started to be used about 1570, after discovery of graphite mine in England, Borrowdale, somewhere in 16 century.  Firstly only graphite was used for writing(there were no wooden sticks around graphite), and wooden sticks that keep graphite(lead) is added latter.</description>
